Research interests:  My research will primarily contribute to the multidimensional profiling of the participants of the cohort SilverSight. This study population includes healthy participants (young, middle, and older adults) as well as patients suffering from AMD (age-related macular degeneration). I will realise a series of clinical and experimental evaluations in order to assess to what extent sensory and cognitive functions are altered by either natural or pathological visual ageing.

Short bio:  Optician-Optometrist for 14 years, I worked in Grenoble, London and Paris. In these practices, I was in charge of dispensing, contact lenses fitting (Spherical, Torical, Multifocal or Keratoconus contact lenses) and eye examinations. My position as a practice supervisor in London enabled me to have a global vision about management and discover the UK market. For 3 years, I had the opportunity to teach to Dispensing Opticians students. I was in charge of Visual optics, Contact lenses, Ophthalmic lenses and Dispensing classes to 1st and 2nd years students at André Argouges Lycée – Grenoble. For the last few years, I worked at Lissac Rivoli, I was in charge of the low vision department and exclusively dealing with blind and partially blind people. I was in charge of low vision assessment including therapeutic filters, optical and electronic visual aids trials. I also had the opportunity to join the Centre Hospitalier Intercommunal de Créteil, where my role was to find the best optical solution for AMD patients.
