Research interests:

My current work is dedicated to the Silversight project Healthy Visual Aging, Action and Autonomy (ANR Research Chair) at the Vision Institute. My main interests are centered on the impact of healthy and pathological human aging on vision and vision-related activities, with a focus on Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD). I’m participating to the clinical and functional visual assessment of the cohort study population SilverSight, through a battery of screening measures that include visual acuity and contrast sensitivity evaluation, visual field and color vision testings, as well as binocular vision exploration. I’m also performing a series of complementary exams in the framework of a full ophthalmologic exam at the Quinze-Vingts Hospital.

Short bio:

I am an orthoptist, graduated from Pierre et Marie Curie University (Paris VI) in 2017. I have a Master degree in Health Research and Rehabilitation from Sorbonne University. My Master’s internship at Vision Institute focused on a comparative study of visual exploration strategies used by AMD patients and age-matched controls to solve a complex visual search task. Eye movements were recorded by using the Pupil Labs eye tracking system. In September 2019, I joined the research team Aging in Vision and Action team as a project engineer.
