Research interests:  My main interest lies in understanding how visual aging affects navigation and orientation tasks in ecological conditions. I will design experiments to be conducted in a real environment, I will acquire and process biometrical data (eye-tracking, motion capture, heart rate…) in order to identify key environmental cues and to optimise their characteristics to minimise the effects of visual and cognitive aging during such tasks.

Short bio:  I hold an engineering degree in Micro and Nanotechnologies from Phelma Grenoble INP (France), Politecnico di Torino (Italy), and Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (Switzerland). This strong technical background helped me to acquire both theoretical and practical knowledge in various engineering fields, such as material sciences, microelectronics, and bioengineering. I kept on broadening my skills through my professional experiences, which I always oriented towards medical applications.

Keywords: Healthy aging, visual aging, spatial cognition, ecological setups.
